I have been a freelance editor since 1999, having previously worked as technical support manager for a busy post production company. I am highly experienced in a wide range of programmes and styles, and have often been the main editor on a series – cutting first or pivotal shows and helping to create a series style, as well as editing several of the episodes.

I am proactive on structure and narrative – often taking an active role in writing or helping to write voiceover –  and have been credited as edit producer on a couple of occasions. I also have experience as a self-shooting director.

As well as the credits listed on my CV I have edited numerous tasters, short films, music videos and charity films, and also re-cut or finished many shows that have over-run or had difficulties.
