Dominic Stabb is an award-winning feature film editor whose work spans powerful documentaries and narrative cinema. He edited the acclaimed Another News Story, which premiered at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, The Guardian called “A brilliant film” and was shortlisted for Best International Documentary at the Grierson Awards. His work on Base brought emotional depth to the high-adrenaline world of wingsuit BASE jumping, with Jonathon Ross reviewing the mockumentary as “Phenomenally exciting to watch” and winning Best Film at the DMFF awards. In Together Stronger, Dominic helped craft the story of Wales’ historic Euro 2016 run – winning Best Sports Documentary at the Welsh RTS awards. He began his career at the acclaimed UK indie production company Vertigo Films, where he honed his craft working with visionary filmmakers such as Gareth Edwards (Rogue One), Alan Niblo (Human Traffic) and was mentored by veteran editors James Herbert & Robin Sales. Known for his intuitive storytelling and cinematic approach, Dominic brings clarity and emotional resonance to every project he edits. He has an MA in Post Production; Editing from Bournemouth and has taught editing to filmmakers at UWE and YouTubers at Google.
