The ARRI / Zeiss Super Speeds are a series of vintage primes with a super fast maximum aperture of T1.3. Originally introduced in the 1970’s, the Super Speeds saw a resurgence in popularity with the transition from film to digital cameras in the late 2000’s / early 2010’s. Their small size, light weight, fast aperture, and added flare continue to make them a favourite lens of many cinematographers.
