The Tiffen Soft FX Filter is designed to reduce blemishes and wrinkles in portraits while maintaining overall sharpness. Its surface features small lenses that smooth fine lines and textures for a more flattering result. The filter is available in grades 1/8, 1/2, 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5, with each increase approximately doubling the effect strength. Higher grades can create a halation effect around highlights, enhancing the subject’s appearance or achieving specific visual effects.
