The Canon Sumire lenses have been designed to give a cinematic look, one more soft and gentle than most typical modern lenses, thus providing filmmakers with an alternative to vintage lens options. These full frame cinematography lenses display spherical and chromatic aberrations to help soften a digital image, as well as interesting flares.

They also have an interchangeable PL mount, fast aperture, a 11-blade iris design and have a standard 114mm front diameter.
