I’ve been editing television for 25 years and I still find it as fascinating and exciting as when I started.

I’m equally at home with long or short form content across a range of genres from blue-chip Natural History, through unscripted factual and obs docs, to fast turnaround daytime and live broadcasts. Every job is a fresh opportunity to craft compelling stories within the conventions of the genre and, if appropriate, to see where those conventions might be subverted.

I love writing, and welcome opportunities to develop scripts which may arrive in the edit as broad outlines; or in those situations where “the shoot didn’t go quite as planned”. I’m told I’m good with music, too.
