Due to the lens coating T* blue, Cinematographers can plan when they want to create flares rather than relying on unforeseen effects. Compared with the Zeiss Supreme Primes, the Supreme Prime Radiances are a touch warmer but retain all the other classic features.

Characterised by their gentle sharpness rendering a crisp but organic and unique look, the Zeiss Supreme Prime Radiance lenses have a very smooth transition between in-focus and out of focus areas which adds a richer texture and greater depth to the image.
